George Delaney is a Chartered Accountant and an Accredited Mediator.
Prior to establishing Delaney Corporate Finance, George held senior corporate finance positions with PwC and KPMG in Ireland, the US and Central Europe, where he advised companies on acquisitions and disposals; finance raising and corporate strategy.
George was subsequently General Manager of an early stage company in the Environmental Sector, which he led through a period of significant expansion.
Prior to establishing Delaney Corporate Finance, George worked in commercial lending with a large Irish bank. In this role he was responsible for debt restructuring and devising and managing borrower ‘work-out strategies’.
George possesses a rare mix of consulting, industry and commercial banking experience. This ensures the adoption of a practical and commercially focussed approach to issues.
He is a director of the John F. Kennedy Trust and a member of Bord Iascaigh Mhara’s South East FLAG.
He is a former Director of Wexford County Enterprise Board and former President of New Ross Chamber.
